Basic Call Tracking

Basic Call Tracking helps you attribute inbound calls from major online channels, including search and social media.

What is Basic Call Tracking?

Basic Call Tracking provides default tracking numbers for channels and attributes inbound calls through dynamic number insertion on your website so you can monitor phone call volume and conversions by channel.

To set up Basic Call Tracking, assign a dedicated phone number, a call flow, and a Salesforce marketing campaign to track web traffic from one website to another.

Basic Call Tracking ties a referral source to a unique number and Salesforce campaign.

For example, you can show a unique phone number on https://www.revenue.io only to visitors coming from www.facebook.com. When someone places a phone call to that number, a call flow can route the phone call to a team, specific users, an IVR, or a recording. Phone calls can be captured against a Salesforce campaign so you can see traffic and outcomes between sites.

To configure Basic Call Tracking in the Revenue app, go to Basic Call Tracking.
