Send a Message from Engage

Engage lets you complete SMS actions quickly, with actions displayed in order of priority. The steps below describe how to send text messages from Engage using the RingDNA dialer.

Some SMS actions may include an SMS Template, which can pre-populate the message so you can edit and send.

Complete an SMS Action

  1. Open the Engage view.
  2. Ensure you are on the Due Now tab.
  3. Find an SMS action and click SMS to open the message window in the RingDNA dialer.
  4. Enter or edit your message and click Send.

Click SMS in the action row to open the compose window; enter or edit the message and click Send.

After you send the message, a new Conversation record is created with SMS details (sent time, phone number, status), and the completed Participant Action is removed from your Engage list.

If the Message button is disabled or missing, the participant likely has no usable mobile number. Add or correct the mobile number on the record, then retry.
