User List
The User list shows users licensed for Guided Selling (licenses are managed in the admin web application). Columns show each user’s role—User or Admin—and email integration status: Connected or Not Connected.
Grant all permissions
The Grant All Permissions button ensures that the Guided Selling Standard Object Permissions are up to date based on the specified Sequences Entrance and Exit criteria. This action assigns both the Guided Selling Standard Object permission set and the Sequence Agent permission set to the listed users, which are essential for functioning within Guided Selling.
Additionally, there is a Sequence Admin permission set that includes all permissions granted to the Sequence Agent, along with the authority to manage the sequences themselves. Lastly, the Sequence Delegation permission set is intended for integration users or automated processes that interact with Guided Selling but do not represent actual users with a UI sign-in. Only licensed users appear in the Users list, regardless of assigned permission sets.
Permission sets
Guided Selling uses several permission sets to control access:
- Guided Selling Standard Object Permission Set: Provides access to Guided Selling objects and fields
- Sequence Agent Permission Set: Grants permissions needed for agents to use Guided Selling
- Sequence Admin Permission Set: Includes all permissions granted to the Sequence Agent, along with the authority to manage the sequences themselves
- Sequence Delegation Permission Set: Intended for integration users or automated processes that interact with Guided Selling but do not represent actual users with a UI sign-in
Best practices
- Grant permissions immediately after package installation
- Re-grant permissions whenever you modify field sets used in sequence criteria
- Re-grant permissions when adding new users to Guided Selling
- Regularly review user permissions to ensure they’re appropriate for each user’s role
