Batch Owner

The Batch Owner is the user who runs the batch processes. This user needs appropriate permissions to execute batch jobs and access the necessary objects and fields.

Setting Batch Owner

The batch owner is configured during Guided Selling setup. This user should:

• Have appropriate permissions to run batch jobs
• Have access to all Guided Selling objects and fields
• Be an active user (not deactivated)
• Have necessary API access if required

Batch Owner Requirements

The batch owner must have:

• Permission to execute Apex batch jobs
• Access to Guided Selling objects (Sequence, Participant Action, etc.)
• Read/write access to fields used in sequences
• Appropriate security settings

Best Practices

• Use a dedicated integration user for batch owner
• Ensure the batch owner user is not deactivated
• Grant appropriate permissions to the batch owner
• Monitor batch owner status regularly
• Document batch owner configuration
