Enroll Your First Participant

Enrolling a participant means adding a Lead or Contact to a sequence. For manual sequences, you can enroll participants directly from the record or list view.
Enrolling a Participant
From an Individual Record
- Navigate to a Lead or Contact record
- Scroll to the Guided Selling component
- Click “Add to Sequence” or “Add Sequence” button
- Select the sequence you want to add the participant to
- Confirm the addition
From a List View
- Navigate to Leads or Contacts list view
- Select one or more records using checkboxes
- Click “Add to Sequence” in the toolbar
- Select the sequence
- Confirm the bulk addition
Requirements
For a participant to be enrolled:
- The participant must meet the sequence entrance criteria
- The participant must not already be in another sequence
- The sequence must be active
- For manual sequences, the system validates entrance criteria
If a participant doesn’t meet the entrance criteria, you’ll see an error message explaining why they cannot be added.
Automatic Enrollment
For automatic sequences, participants are enrolled automatically when:
- They meet the entrance criteria
- They don’t meet the exit criteria
- The sequence has capacity (under 20,000 participants)
- Other requirements are met
