Enroll Your First Participant

Enrolling a participant means adding a Lead or Contact to a sequence. For manual sequences, you can enroll participants directly from the record or list view.

Enrolling a Participant

From an Individual Record

  1. Navigate to a Lead or Contact record
  2. Scroll to the Guided Selling component
  3. Click “Add to Sequence” or “Add Sequence” button
  4. Select the sequence you want to add the participant to
  5. Confirm the addition

From a List View

  1. Navigate to Leads or Contacts list view
  2. Select one or more records using checkboxes
  3. Click “Add to Sequence” in the toolbar
  4. Select the sequence
  5. Confirm the bulk addition

Requirements

For a participant to be enrolled:

  • The participant must meet the sequence entrance criteria
  • The participant must not already be in another sequence
  • The sequence must be active
  • For manual sequences, the system validates entrance criteria
If a participant doesn’t meet the entrance criteria, you’ll see an error message explaining why they cannot be added.

Automatic Enrollment

For automatic sequences, participants are enrolled automatically when:

  • They meet the entrance criteria
  • They don’t meet the exit criteria
  • The sequence has capacity (under 20,000 participants)
  • Other requirements are met
